Did you know that the motto of Aevitas Fitness is “Fitness For a Lifetime”? Our goal as a gym is and always has been to help you become the most healthy version of yourself, so that you can use that health in your everyday life, and whatever activities you want to do! We strive to build a strong foundation on which you can achieve any goal you set your mind to.
In this week’s blog post, we wanted to highlight just a few accomplishments made this past weekend by Aevitas athletes outside the walls of our gym. We’re so proud of these athletes and the hard work that has gotten them to these milestones. Hard work both physically and mentally, both inside and outside of the gym!
Coach Sam and Zephyr – 1st Place in the TPK challenge race!
If you know these two guys at all, it’ll be no surprise to you that they absolutely dominated a race that includes both physical challenges as well as mental tests. These two navigated their way to a first place finish in the TPK Endurance race, finishing in 22 hours and 52 minutes. We are so proud!
Also of note: Spartan Coach Jay and Intern Ryan completed the TPK event as well! They took 7th place, completing the race in 29 hours and 15 minutes.
For reference, merely completing this event was a task that half of the registered teams did not accomplish! Way to go, guys!
Coach Dave (and partner Dave) – 1st Place in the Masters of the Universe Competition!
Again, if you know Dave at all you’ll know he’s one of the best Masters Athletes and Masters Athlete activists there is! Dave took on the Fiternity “Masters of the Universe” competition this past weekend with his partner from last year, and they topped the podium! May we all take some inspiration from Dave and his relentless dedication to getting fitter every single day!
Also of note: Coach Pick and his partner ended up on the podium as well, in third place!
Coach Victoria and Liz – 3rd Place in the Girls Gone Rx Competition!
In yet another community fitness event outside of our own walls, Coach Victoria and Liz R threw down at the “Girls Gone Rx” competition hosted by CrossFit Spur over the weekend. Our girls fought their way through a tough field to land themselves on the podium, in third place! This is an achievement we just knew was coming at some point – both of these women work incredibly hard. We’re so happy it did happen, and can’t wait to see more podium finishes for these ladies in the future!
There are countless ways Aevitas Athletes display their health and fitness on a regular basis, and we are just as proud of each and every one of you for using your fitness to live your life – in whatever challenges you decide to take on!
