As you may already know, we are currently deep into winter. For many, this is the toughest time of year to stay active, motivated, and just happy in general. So this year, the Aevitas community is going to team up and get through this together! And we have the perfect way to do it – a Six Week Accountability Challenge that will get us to Springtime!
What Is The Challenge All About?
This challenge is for anyone looking for that extra bump of accountability to keep you going strong through the gloomiest time of the year.
The challenge will combine both personal and group actions that we hope will help everyone get stronger, together! Read below for our multi-faced approach to this Six Week Challenge:
Group/Coach Accountability – We’ll have a separate Facebook group for sharing helpful info, recipes and general encouragement! If you’re not on Facebook, we’ll be sending out weekly emails with all of the instructions.
Nutrition Bingo – Simple nutrition tasks to nudge you back into more controlled eating habits. Each week you’ll get a new bingo card with new tasks to complete!
Body Composition Tracking – Willing participants will get an InBody body composition scan at the start and end of the challenge to track your progress. ($70 Value).
Workout Attendance – At the start of the challenge, you’ll be responsible for selecting a workout frequency and weekly schedule that suits your goals. Sticking to it for 6 weeks will be one of the variables in determining winners!
Goals, Accomplishments, and AWARDS!
The overall goal of this challenge is to help get and keep as many people on the rails as possible through this very turbulent time of year. We’re going to accomplish that with the tools mentioned above.
AND we’re going to reward your accomplishments with some prizes and awards! The following metrics will be reviewed and rewarded at the end of this Six Week Challenge.
Tokens of accomplishment :
Steady Eddy: Most consistent attendance
Nutrition Ninja: Most points accumulated from nutrition bingo
Pumped & Proud: Most muscle mass gained*
Lean & Mean: Highest body fat % loss*
Lifestyle: Most positive change in an area outside of the gym. (sleep, mobility, mental health, etc). It will be on you to make a case in the exit survey!
*These metrics require before and after InBody scans. The scans are part of the challenge, but you may choose to opt out if you would like
Schedule and Cost of the Challenge
This Challenge will begin Monday, February 8th after an initial week of Sign-ups and InBody scans. The Challenge will end on the first day of Spring: Saturday, March 20th! The overall schedule looks like this:
Week 0 (Feb 1 – Feb 7): Sign-ups and Onboarding. You’ll complete the Challenge Intake Form when you sign up (see below). We’ll have blocks of time set up for you to complete your initial InBody scan this week as well.
Week 1 – Week 5 (Feb 8 – Mar 13): Ongoing daily/weekly challenges to keep you moving forward. See above for all the details!
Week 6 (Mar 14 – Mar 20): Final challenges, Final InBody Scans and Challenge Exit Survey.
