Calling all ghouls and goblins - we are dressing up to work out on Halloween - NEXT THURSDAY, October 31st! We hope that you will join us to celebrate this year in a very Spook-tacular way - keep reading for details!

Aevitas Costume Contest Details

Since Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, we are going to use the actual holiday to host a "wear-your-costume-to-WOD" day!

This year, we are making the costume party into a costume CONTEST, and we can't wait to see who the winner is!

‍Date:

Halloween! Next Thursday, October 31st

‍How To Enter:

To compete, all you need to do is wear your costume to the gym on Thursday 10/31.

Any class, any time of the day. You can even show up with your full get-up, and then opt to shed a layer for the sake of the workout - as long as we see you in your full gear (and get a picture!), it counts!

‍Everyone Wins!

A winner will be chosen by the coaches on Monday. As a prize, Aevitas will donate to the charity of the winner's choice!

Additionally, we'll tack on a small amount to the total donation for every person who dresses up - so even if you're not sure you'll win, you should still participate!

‍No, we're not going to give you candy... that's what trick-or-treating is for.

‍

We hope that you all participate in this very fun once in a year event! We can't wait to see what costumes you come up with!

2025 Aevitas Open - Smells Like Team Spirit!

But instead of comparing individual workout scores, each athlete will be able to earn points for their gyms team by showing *spirit in any of the following ways: Complete the Open Workout for the week any time before Monday 8PM = 1 point Attend the Friday Night Lights whether youre completing the workout then or not = 1 point Bring a spectator to Friday Night Lights = 1 point per spectator!

Aevitas Weightlifters Take on the Arnold, ADK Regional Open

Emily Riordan successfully lifted 70kg for the Snatch, and 83kg in the Clean & Jerk, going four for six and earning a Total of 153kg Finally, Connor Lacey , competing in the University Nationals competition, gained a new PR in the Snathwith 114kg, along with a 113kg Clean & Jerk As always, we are so incredibly proud of the lifters for taking on this challenge!
